Tracking CE Broker Submissions

Each certificate displays its CE Broker submission status. Certificates can be in one of three states: Submitted, Pending, or Failed. See the CE Broker Reporting section for details.

CE Broker Reporting

MidwayCME integrates with CE Broker to automatically report completed continuing education credits. As a coordinator, you can monitor submission status, submit certificates, and retry any failed submissions.

Overview of CE Broker Integration

When a learner completes a course and earns a certificate, the system can automatically report the credits to CE Broker.
Submission includes the learner's license information, course details, credits earned, and completion date.
The platform tracks each submission's status so you can verify reporting is complete.

Submitting Certificates to CE Broker

  1. 1
Navigate to the Certificates page and locate certificates that are pending CE Broker submission.
  2. 2
Click Submit to CE Broker to send the certificate data to the reporting system.
  3. 3
The status will update to Submitted on success, or display an error message if the submission fails.

Tracking Submission Status

Submitted

Successfully reported to CE Broker. No action needed.

Pending

Awaiting submission. Can be submitted manually or will be picked up by the next auto-report cycle.

Failed

Submission encountered an error. Review the error details and retry.

Retrying Failed Submissions

  1. 1
Filter the certificates list by Failed status to see all failed submissions.
  2. 2
Review the error message for each failed submission. Common issues include invalid license numbers or expired learner profiles.
  3. 3
After resolving the issue, click the Retry button to resubmit the certificate to CE Broker.
Tip: The platform runs an automatic CE Broker reporting cycle periodically. Pending certificates are automatically submitted during this cycle. You only need to manually intervene for failed submissions.
